ASDA Park Royal

Yesterday I helped shoppers to pack their good as part of fundraising for Street Pastors. In case you don't know, they are opening the doors of churches to the homeless in Ealing as overnight shelters. Churches in Acton taking part are St. Mary's and St. Dunstan's. No need to be a Christian. If you would like to help, either by serving in the Churches in the evenings or early mornings, by donating food, clothes,etc.or by fundraising: pm me and I will give you the contact info. All clients come via St. Mungo's who are the biggest charity of its kind in West London. Thanks to Donna and the staff at ASDA for allowing us to fundraise there. Thanks again to all the generous shoppers, especially those two little girls in wellies who knew all about homelessness and handed over the money they had. So very kind!

Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter has been going for three years and their website is here: www.ecwns.org.uk St Mungos is the Council’s outreach partner.Ealing Council launched the Winter Warm Up campaign last week in partnership with ECWNS and St Mungos, and have had an overwhelming and generous response to date. I know this is a cause very dear to your heart.The churches in Acton involved are St. Mary's and St. Dunstan's This is a very worthwhile local charity, Perhaps you would like to be on the rota for helping out in the early mornings or in the evenings? If you can't, then see if you have any warm clothing you can donate, or a little cash for us to buy shoes, gloves, hats and so on. It is cold out there folks. Your time or your money will be much appreciated. No donation too small.
