Emergency repointing

Does anyone have a good brickie that they can recommend please? The recent extremely wet weather has seen damp appear in one of our rooms over the last few days and now we're in a race to get it sorted before it spreads to electrics/woodwork.

Emma, earlier in 2013, you posted saying your partner did building works - and that his name was Tom.  Do you know lots of builders then? And what does Marek have over Tom?

I used DG Brickwork recently http://dgbrickwork.moonfruit.com.Did a good job repointing where damp was coming through.

Emma, I'm extremely impressed.Can your gut actually carry out re-pointing ? Can any other parts of your anatomy carry out general building repairs ? or is it just your gut that has these impressive skills ?
