Cookbook by the children of Derwentwater Pirmary on Sale

What a lovely sensible idea. Well done teachers, parents and children of Derwentwater School. The cookbooks would make ideal presents for say Chinese New Year. Btw, Gong Xi Fa Cai to everyone.

Love the wide range of international recipes. After having put so much effort into the school gardens, Derwentwater Primary School can only be applauded for wanting to build a kitchen to use the produce and teach kids how to cook.  Spend a fiver on this lovely book now and save society a fortune because these kids will learn how to cook real food and are given an alternative to the processed foods on sale nowadays!

What a great project!  How is that garden?  I never did get to see it I had so many other commitments.Cookery is coming back to the national curriculum next September for 7-14 year olds. That can only be a good thing.
