Nooooo! That's downright tragic - it had the best Indian food I've ever tasted, anywhere.  I hope they take their talents somewhere they're appreciated.

Such a shame they are closing at the end of next week.  We have had a super takeaway from them most Saturdays for the last few years.  So do make the most of your last chance to support them this week.

We've just had our last meal there - our only chance to get to it before it closes down.  We will miss it terribly, and it's a damned shame that it couldn't find enough people to appreciate such adventurous and unique cooking.  I have a feeling if it were in somewhere like Chiswick or Camden, it would have been packed every night.  It wasn't just the best Indian food I've ever tasted - it rates among the best food of any kind I've ever had.

Having been a regular at the previous Indian restaurants on that site I feel bad for not supporting it, but I went once and didn't like it. If I remember correctly I ordered the Achari Paneer Tikka - "Low fat cottage cheese on a bed of sautéed red cabbage" - and when it arrived it had no achari flavour and no sauteed red cabbage. The main course, baby aubergines, was equally uninspiring. Maybe they were having an off night but I never understood why it was so highly rated.
