Terrorism on Grafton

I see that our local councillors of the red persuasion, were out in force today, drumming up support, or should that be, trying to drum up support, for our votes.After a reminder about the shenanigans of the voting over the Oaks and, the Horn Ln., Industrial Plant, and the pollution levels that we have been subjected to, they quickly moved on.We have had nearly four years of this ineffective bunch, is it time for a change?What have they done or, not done, for us, for the time they have been our ward councillors?Derwentwater school...portacabins. (dodgy voting)CPZ fiasco. (all or nothing zone MM)Passing The Oaks development. (dodgy voting)Mute on pollution issues. (don't want to get involved)

Did you mention reneging on the commitment to the priory groups and the general reducing the town hall development to the lowest level possible?

Sorry Sara. Just wanted them as far away as possible.  Why would they want to know my name, when I showed such contempt for the mob handed brigade.  This lady is not for turning.DC is standing again, think PW is as well.  At least she said sorry for blocking the pavement.

Don't know.DC is definite. On Grafton, he has some cronies, but there are more that feel they have been failed by him, and the other two, so will vote else where.Any idea if Vlod is standing?

.... and agreeing to the new waste management contract..... but there again some make think that the Labour Party made the right choice of contractor!!!!What is needed in Local Government are Councillors who understand how to manage our Council Tax money properly.

What is really needed in Local Government, badly, is an instrument for Council Tax Payers to be able to have a "Vote of No Confidence" or similar, so that Councillors can be dismissed for incompetence/laziness/disinterest/etc.

I'm pretty sure Vlod Barchuk is standing again. And Mr and MrsBogrand (sp?) as the two other conservatives.Dunno who the libdems are though....I can't recall ever having a libdem councillor in Acton Central - but others may Remember
