Are we just a number?

How many numbers are associated with us in our lives?Are we treated as a number, and not as a human being?Is there an advantage to being a number?Today I asked my GP for a specialist referral, only to be told that my NI number was ruled by my hospital number, which is ruled by a specialist gender number.  In other words, go private.I am not a number, I'm a human being!

You are just a number and they will only treat part of you at a time - the reported ailing part and not all of you.  Hence some things eg good nutritional food, toe nail cutting and enough physiotherapy to get you walking confidently and fit enough to go home quicker are not included.
