Just been up to the station with some books and it is looking rather bare. Only 1 shelf and a bit filled. If anyone has some spare books they would like to donate just take them up there. Thanks.

There's no way of predicting - though I note there are often donations late morning on Saturdays.Thanks so much for all offers - those 20 books sound just the ticket!I wonder why so few get returned. Disorganisation, people wanting books at home, lending them to friends or putting in another swap, they become treasured friends? All fine! Trying to sell or, worse, dumping for land-full? Deffo not on...
I dropped those books as promised at lunchtime. Jodi Picoult plus some other 'light reads'.

Fantastic - light reads, heavy ones, children's, factual, philosophy, poetry... Virtually anything, in almost any language, will be appreciated by someone..

I should have kept a language log - that must be a first Finnish one. We have had French, German, Russian, Urdu, Polish at least so far.Anyone seen other languages?

I think the book swap is a great idea, i leave books there myself regularly. Maybe if an organiser could leave a pile of some please return stickers on top of the bookcase near the books so that people can stick them on their donated books this would encourage more books to be returned.
