Cafe in north action playing fields

Can no one tell me what is going on with the cafe???? 99 percent of the time this is closed. In the summer I asked the manager if he wanted someone to run it and never heard back. I would love the opportunity to run it for the sake of the community. My ideas were home made sausages, full English breakfast, my famous egg and bacon pies, children's story time on a Friday so parents could have tea and cake and relax for a while. Anyone have any ideas how I can approach this???? I was also looking a bbqs in the summer and all profits being put back into new facilities in the park.

Sounds brilliant. Could you try popping into Acton Park cafe and finding out who they deal with/lease from.  Maybe they can offer some helpful advice.Good luck

I think that this place would work better with revised opening hours.I live 1 minute from here and I think that the area is too quiet to sustain 9-5 7 days a week type hours.Seasonal hours could work well. E.g. May -sept 14.30 - 18.00 (weekdays) 9- 6 weekendsOtherwise only open weekends the rest of the year.I hope that you get to do something there Emma Good luck!
