Planning Committee visits Hanson Cement Plant 11am this Sat 8th March

and although the Committee are invariably running late, protesters are advised to get there by around 10:45 am.The visit is designated a "Drive By" (just WHO makes these insane decisions?!) however this has been vigorously challenged and a full site visit on foot to the site has been demanded, as well as the Planning Committee also visiting and viewing the monstrosity from affected resident's gardens.

I never heard of a 'drive by' planning site visit for any other application. What nonsense is this? They may as well just look at Google maps.

The usual, and now expected these days, nonsense from Ealing Borough Council Planning Department - their numerous incompetencies often the topic on various threads on this site ....... and elsewhere.

The Conservative lead on planning has requested that this is a proper visit and as a result they will stop and visit properly on Saturday.
