More flats proposed behind Stuart Rd W3 on Horn Lane
Yet another development proposed on Horn Lane behind Stuart Road. 2 blocks and 2 mews houses. How many flats can Acton take and be able to provide school places, GPs etc? This plan is squeezed onto a long thin strip behind the Victorian houses of Stuart road and the large development of flats built last year. The front block is designed to be 5/6 storeys high, so dwarfing the 2/3storey houses and flats alongside. Whilst not against the development as such, it seems, like with the Oaks, out of proportion for the locality. Please support local residents by looking at the plans and making objections by 28/3/14 (details below).Thank you Reference number PP/2014/1045 48 HORN LANE W3 6NP Description Redevelopment of the site (following demolition of petrol station and garages) to provide 28 residential units in total, 26 residential flats (6x1 bedroom, 18x2 bedroom and 2x3 bedroom) in 2 separate residential blocks at the front and rear of the site and 2x2 bedroom Mews houses in centre of the site with associated hardstanding, refuse and recycling and cycle parking.
