Any good sitters in Poet's Corner?

Does anyone know of a good baby sitter. Not quite a baby sitter but someone to look after a 13 year old boy from time to time in the area? I would prefer trying to find someone local and by referral.

Would really like someone local as I would like to go out just once this year for my birthday but don't have anyone to watch my son.

Many of us would have belonged to groups early on in our children's lives and made friends that way who would have had older brothers and sisters and grannies and granddads etc to babysit.Ealing 135 had a babysitting circle - very useful only completely hopeless for me as I had a husband who I couldn't rely to be home in time to babysit my own child.Many remain members of groups like this for quite a while because they have further children.A sleepover with a friend became the answer.
