I usually enjoy the Forum page but become very frustrated when trying to follow a long list of letters. There must be a quicker way than going up and down the page many times.Forgive me if this has been raised before but I have a busy life and sometimes miss Acton W3.Please send me a solution. Outdated software apparently - nothing to be done without major investment....it's a commercial concern so would have to be provably cost-effective I suppose.

I think I actively prefer this system as it allows me to read the postings of people who make sensible contributions to threads while ignoring the rest.

I don't open postings by people who just like to start arguments, though that's more on other local fora than this one!

and sometimes we don't.The Res become particularly aggravating when they turn into a very long line and cross the page completely ... and go onto the next line.Time is finite so I think everyone tends to pick which they choose to read or ignore.  You never know when you will miss a gem when you routinely ignore someone, and you can get into trouble for repeating a point already made if you don't read a whole thread.  So you just take your chances.

Well, there are certain people you know won't be contributing to the subject matter, just calling each other names. Again, more on some other NN sites than this one.
