Went there once for dinner. Overrated and very, very noisy. For an acclaimed gastropub, I found it staggering that they had no vegetarian starter (they seemed taken aback that we'd even ask) and they threw together some beans in a truly unimaginative way. My main was a fish dish which they seemed unduly proud of, as it seemed to consist of a Birdseye cod fillet in a bowl with some spinach, cockles and a thin, milky broth at the bottom that they took undue pride in, first offering me a spoon for the broth and then asking if I wanted some bread to sop it up. "Why?" I asked, incredulously - it was like fishy milk, and not worth the effort. We keep meaning to go back for a second chance, but haven't summoned up the enthusiasm.
