I noted from the bus today (so slowly due to "traffic improvements") that it is going to be a Mleczko.The best of the Polish delis.Great! I don't have to go to Shepherds Bush to get great hams, bread etc.

Dreams shattered no M&S and a reason to go to that part of Acton ... Chiswick still gets the vote ... How many Polish supermarkets can one area take ? Wish them well but suspect another short lived business

I doubt that very much - mostly because there hasn't been a campaign against Waitrose - just against the excesses and excrescences of the Oaks development.But mostly because any large supermarket would be more likely to see an opportunity than a threat were there to be any opposition to a rival

Popped in to check it out this afternoon and it was PACKED.Obviously I'm not the only one who welcomes it to Acton.Also, a good place to buy pork!
