So far, I am not a happy bunny. Booked membership over the phone as had questions nobody at the 'shop' could answer, not told had to come in (again...) to sign something within the next week or lose discounted membership (a 35 quid deal they are still selling to this day, I believe...), the delay with the opening but being charged fully for the month (had made it clear only interested in swimming), when went back in was just given card but could not book anything online as had no log-in details so another trip to the old town hall, eventually booked two aqua classes for Monday and Thursday, got there Monday, no class, and told booking system should not have allowed me to book class in first place as main pool not open and mini one reserved for schools, today's class did take place but total chaos, instructor could not find names on idiotically arranged small-print list, women only class with a lot of muslim women complaining that workmen were walking in/viewing window cutains did not work, male life guard had to be replaced by other staff member at last second who then slipped on wet surface and was crying after hurting herself badly. Got chucked out of pool afterwards immediately as they had to change the water depth to a ludicrous 82cm again immediately even though there didn't seem to be kids coming (was 131 just for the class, changed at the last second, too, so no way you could swim and warm up for a few minutes beforehand, unless you wanted to crawl on your knees, no kids then either). Huge queue for reception on way out, one staff member, so did not bother about asking about class next Monday (supposed opening day for main pool), got home and tried to book classes online but told problem with my account and can't book Acton Centre... Ok, the Acton Centre is new, but this is an established profit-making company that should know how to deal with things better. The usual lack of customer orientation to maximise profits on the cheap...
