I see they're holding this interesting street food festival this Easter again. Anyone been before - is it lively and worth taking relatives to experience please?

Gerry I've never been to the Food Festival but I do like going along the Southbank when the weather is good as there are interesting things happening there particularly during school holidays. There is usually a free exhibition or two and sometimes some free music inside the RFH - something that you can wander into.I've seen some wonderful outdoor happenings - abseiling off the roof of strange creatures and dancing on stilts.There seems to be an Indian festival on there at the same time - but maybe I'm confused. I'm still trying to find way around their new website.

Yes....I took my mum last year who was visiting. It was really good with a buzzy vibe and lots of free samples! I'm sure it will be worth visiting this year too, especially if the weather stays fine.
