Motorcycle thefts in Acton.
All, There seems to be an increase in motorcycle thefts in Acton at the moment.I know of two bikes that were stolen in the last couple of days in my street alone and heard of two more within the last week.Motorcyclists- make sure you lock your bike up to something solid- locking a chain around the bike won't deter anyone other than the most casual of thieves.Both bikes stolen in the last couple of days had chains or disk locks on them but not locked around a telephone pole or to a ground anchor- the thieves came along at 3am with a van and lifted the bikes in and drove off.Just FYI.
