Rats....

With all the over development by north acton station, not am I only concerned that the tesco can't cope, doctors can't cope, dentists can't cope etc etc etc i was gob smacked on my way to the tesco metro about eight in the morning to be confronted by a number of rats running around the pavement and the gardens. Ealing council we have had enough of over development. I await your response, especially Ms Kate Crawford.

I presume you are talking about the area close by North Acton Tube, where the recent residential blocks, and subsequent Student blocks have been built. Also where the council want to improve access to the tube and create a new public area. Planning policy for the area is included within the long established local plan. From memory it see's the area as a gateway into Park Royal and the transformation of redundant commercial buildings along with the road realignment shortening the gyratory looks to have been a good thing. It was supported by the previous tory administration and I do not think the current lot have changed much (except for the tube access). It was also included within the London plan so I am not sure how much influence a ward councillor would have over it....What exactly is your point?

Last rat I saw was swimming in the pond in Acton Park.  Is that also over-developed?Rats will go where there is food, so I think I would direct my concerns at Tesco or whichever shop was not clearing its refuse appropriately.
