Mairi, thanks for replying. I've been in contact with vets since 15th May, when I first saw your NMPR posting stating that Blue had owners that were missing him. They sent me the poster on 23rd May. Vets were not aware of Blue having been found until I reported it on 15th May - The date you stated on your NMPR listing as having found Blue, is 15th February, the day he went missing from home.Neither Battersea Dogs & Cats home, nor Ealing & West London Cat's Protection had been notified that Blue had been found, until I did so, last week.Vets granted Blue an extension beyond the normal 7 days, to allow me more time to search for the owners. The earliest date Blue was going to be transferred was the 27th May. As you didn't reply to any of the messages I sent to you via National Missing Pet Register, or the messages of another volunteer pet-finder, requesting the owner's phone number on the posters, and the locations where you have seen the posters, I was only able to properly begin my attempts to trace Blue's owners on 23rd May. Number traces, plus extensive poster campaign, are ongoing. Please would you now be willing to state the streets or locations where you have seen Blue's owners posters - this would greatly assist with the poster campaign to search for his owner, a 5 year old girl, and her family, who clearly loved and wanted Blue. This Lycamobile is peculiar in that it's necessary for a caller to press "1" to save the message that's been left. What date did you first attempt to call the owners, and did you press "1" after leaving your message? It's feared that the owner's mobile may have possibly been lost or stolen, they lost hope in finding Blue, and have forgotten that the number on the posters is invalid.
