Party Wall Question and Neighbour

hi  all came  back  to  find  that  my neighbour  has built a out house  next  to  my extension you see  heard  this  loud  talk  funny  i thought went  next door he  has built with a roof  connecting  to  my wall he said   that  he  build  the wall 3 inch away  from  my wall but why   is  the roof  tile  connected  to my  wall also  noticed that  the red  brick that was on  the wall are used  for flower  bed  ask  him about this  told  me  that  his brother  had some left  over my lounge is  the extension  so it feels a lot  colder and  noise has increased  i wonder  has he told me lies   and  that he   has taken away  the red brick and uses my wall and  not  build a new  wall  cant see  has  he  has put up units and i cannot see dont want to fall out with  them  but if  i ever sell they new owners  will want  to know  any ideas guys  how to move forward on this

Go to the Council, building or planning, and get a Party Wall pack. It will tell you everything.

Hi I had similar problems onceThe document attached to the end of this link was very useful. I found it clear and easy to usehttps://www.gov.uk/party-wall-etc-act-1996-guidanceYou can also check with the Council as to whether they need or have planning permission (unlikely as sounds quite small) or appropriate building control sign off which I think they will need. The Council web site allows you to look this up on line but can be hard to find what you are looking for. The Council themselves were very helpful for me.Good luck

thanks sue  tricky one  this  he  had  a stroke my neighbour  now back  at  work  but i have a doubt that he is telling  me a lie  just notice  a small crack on my wall he did  this work  last year while i was away  dont  want  to upset  him  but  spoke  to  my solictor about  it  and  any  new buyer  will  need  to  know  this  just  wish  he  was honest  with me
