Recommendations of local garages for car tyre repair?

Hello all, I'm new to the forum and relatively new to Acton.Wondered if anyone could recommend a good local garage which does tyre repairs?  Car had its MOT last week at the vastly overpriced Halfords Autocentre - and thought I might be able to get a nail in one of my tyres removed and plugged more cheaply elsewhere.Thanks in advance.

I ve just had 2 tyres replaced at Victoria tyres on York road at the top of Horn lane, first right after the railbridge travelling northbound. I just drove in and the whole thing took 10 minutes.

There's also a good place on the Old Oak common junction near Homebase - bit of a pain to get to as from East Acton Lane you have to go round to the right NOT over the A40 and double back and round. They are professional and good value though.

Wherever you get them done, (if you need a new tyre) it seems to be cheaper for you to order them online to be delivered to the garage, than getting the same tyres from the garage.

Seconded. I've  used Victoria Tyres a couple of times and they've been good.

I always use Acton Tyres. www.actontyres.co.uk. 020 8248 5762/077782 65856. They come to you. The nice guy who runs it used to own Norwesco opposite Homebase. Now runs this mobile service.

Martin from Acton Tyres is no longer trading.....according to hubby.

I always use Martin from Acton Tyres whenever I get a puncture, he only charged £15 for a repair. It will be a shame if he is no longer around.

Best one-stop garage for MOTs, tires, you name it is Burlngton's on Birkbeck Road, near The Rocket. Barry and his team are quick, cheerful and reasonably priced. And before my battery finally died, they twice came round with their booster machine and refused to charge me for it. 020 8992 6971

We used to use Martin and he recommended victoria tyres to me.

Thanks for all your suggestions - I went to Victoria Tyres in the end, where they were able to remove the nail and repair the tyre for £12, £8 less than it would have been at Kwik Fit.  As a couple of people already mentioned, looks like it's under new ownership.
