2 hours on public transport from Horn Lane to Hammersmith early eve with bus after bus terminating on Acton High St and/or not going beyond Askew Rd - transfer given by first bus driver no longer valid when got the next bus, only an E3 to Chiswick... all terminating Acton though no congestion problem down to Turnham Green when one came after more than an hour (!). Tube Turnham Green to Hammersmith fine, too. Next time I will cycle again, even when coming back in eve and don't feel comfortable due to undoubtedly drunk maniac drivers. Could have done journey in 20 mins, and Hammersmith flyover closed at weekends for a while, it sems...
