Barbara speake stage school and agency

On Friday miss speakr sent me an e mail telling me my 6 year old is basically expelled and when confronted she admitted it was because of me Being an independent school means she has every right to do this  make things worse she is not only expelled she is no longer welcomeon school premises which means she cant even attend gymnastis which she loves and is open to the public On the other side of all this she has expelled me after 20 year'

No TV signal

Does anyone know what the problem is with the TV signal, been without for two days now I'm a bit further out than Acton are you having the same problems, I'm using Freeview TV (when it's working). Have tried to find info online but no sensible information as yet.

Leaflets -AHS

Gunnersbury Lane is again littered with leaflets dropped by students following local campaigning from parents and staff outside the school gates. This is the second time this littering has happened. I understand that communication is needed, but given that most of the leaflets are not making it home, perhaps another tack should be used.

Cake mould /tin needed

Hi, does anyone local to Acton central,  happen to have a number 1 cake tin/mould or a longer than usual loaf tin I could borrow for a couple of days? Need to make my little grandson a first birthday cake on Friday evening.  Many thanks.

Car servicing

Just a quick post to give a recommendation to G&P Autocare (next to the the Rocket pub).I've been to them many times over the years and have always had a fair and honest experience.They have just serviced my car at less than 25% of the price of the main dealer. Adrian even recommended another specialist for an unconnected issue that he couldn't assist with.Great to support local business, especially when it's a great price and honest.I have no connection to these guys - just thought they deserved the positive press.Regards, Carl

Rubbish collections

Anyone else not had recycling collected today? Checked council website which says collection days not changing over Easter but we still have a full dustbin outside despite it being our usual collection day.

Does anyone go there?  It is always empty when I pass and all I can see is that horrible green. Isn't their décor and customer visibility a bit off-putting?Or is it brilliant (for the price!)
