Missing woman in her 60s missing

A friend's aunt is missing from Perivale.  Have you seen her?  This is what my friend says:"Our wonderful auntie , Diana Hirsch, has gone missing from her home in Perivale, West London. Now officially a Missing Person. Diana is in her 60's, slim and sprightly. Very kind and very active in her local community. Last heard from around December 1st 2016. We are very concerned for her welfare. We have no idea of her whereabouts. Please could you circulate and share this post as far and widely as possible. Any information at all appreciated."Please contact me or the Police if you have a sighting.  Thanks.

Another stabbing?

The pavement between Pure gym and a long way down the High Street cordoned off when i drove past at 9 this morning. Lots of police around. A rumour there has been another stabbing. Anyone know anything more?

ENERGY BOOST ON MONDAY

Many apologies for not being there last month, this is the first time in all the years we have been doing the Healing Centre that we have had to cancel - hopefully it will be the last!Energy Therapists will be at the London Buddhist Vihara, The Avenue, W4 1UD on Monday, 12th December between  11am and 1pm (last session 12.45).  The session takes about 15-20 minutes and I am sure that you will feel really good at the end of that time, with lots of vital energy to enable you to enjoy the rest of your week and cope with Christmas!  A number of therapists come in each month and give their services free.  The Vihara kindly allow us to use the hall at no charge so a donation is most welcome as this enables us to give all donations to the Vihara for the use of the hall..These sessions are not related to any religion, everyone is welcome.

White pick up truck around North Acton playing fields

We have been notified that on two separate times this evening that two men in a white ford pick  up truck with a light on top are acting suspiciously around vans in Park. View.  It appears they were disturbed but returned minutes later

Ark Byron school in Acton park

From the latest Southfields Lib Dem newsletter: Ark Byron school - news from Ealing CouncilMany residents have been concerned at where their children will go if the planned Ark Byron school is not to be built by September.Council officers have said that the Education Funding Agency(EFA), the Ark Trust and Ealing Council are looking at a number of temporary options for children starting in September next year if that is required. There is a meeting of parents at the school on Monday evening (12th December) where parents will be updated further by the Trust. The Council will be sending a representative.About the large amount of dumped waste inside the wooden boarded up area, there are plans to ensure, with some proper security, that the same outcome does not occur again. This would include heavier locks are in place on the gates and once the clearance works are complete further physical barriers will be placed inside the gates to prevent access. The dumped waste is planned to be removed later this week.

What happenned  to Actons £950,000 regeneration grant ?

Please don't tell me it has been spent ! I have emailed Julian Bell and his dept and they have emailed me to say they have no idea Acton High Street was awarded a regeneration grant !! How can the leader of Ealing Council be unaware of 1MILLION pound grant ?? Please help me to demand where every penny of this money I presume has been wasted or pocketed in ways other people have suggested !

illegal activity in horn lane

for a few months this blacked out shop has seen some very  questionable persons frequentingit. The police have been advised and nothing has been done. somking shisha inside urinating in the alley behind probalby no licence to operate. Not open to the public no menu apparently this is supposed to be a cafe. Any advice???? the location is 323 horn lane. There are young children living in the flats above and I fear they are smoking inside and do not have the correct insurance. This is an accident waiting to happen.  Neighbours have reported this to the police to no avail. I am sure there is something illegal going on.

38 storey plan for Perfume Factory exhibition Tues & Wed 28/29th

Poor old Acton.  Time we all got together and said "enough".  Can you even imagine what 38 storeys will look like looming over Acton?  We'll be put on the map for all the wrong reasons.  Our Council will, of course, encourage this build, and others, shamefully.An exhibition is taking place in the café of the Perfume Factory on Tuesday 28th July, 2015 between 10am and 6pm and Wednesday 29th July between 2pm and 8pm.  I'll be there and I encourage others too.  This has got to stop.  Have a look at the plans below.http://www.theperfumefactory.info/public-exhibition-july-2015/

Panorama last night on Care Homes
