Destroyed Trees down Gunnesbury Avenue

Another new tree destroyed in Gunnesbury Avenue. One was broken in half last week and noticed another one has now been done. The trees are protected by wire mesh so they have definitely been done on purpose.What a nob head who ever is doing this.

Ramsay Road drug dealing

Dear neighbours on Ramsay Road,Like me you may have noticed that a group of teenagers have taken to gathering on the wall outside number 40 in the evenings. I have watched them closely and each evening they walk up and down the road pretending to be on the phone whilst checking which neighbours are at home. When they find a quite house they hide a (usually blue) plastic bag of cannabis between the wheelie bins, then throughout the evening as more of them come and go they keep returning to the bag to take amounts out to sell. I have filmed all of this and now have a lot of footage of the entire process. On Wednesday they were hiding this in the garden of number 28 and last night it was number 14 or 16 (the lovely pale blue house). More worryingly they also look in windows of properties and cars, one even walked in to my front garden to check the locks on my motorbike, which after one of my motorbikes was stolen two weeks ago I am very sensitive to. They also lean on various cars which really gets my goat as this is a certain way to scratch the paintwork. Twice I called the police, the first time they arrived (3 hours later) the kids had gone but we found a large ball of clingfilm in the garden of 28 which stank of cannabis. I called the police again last night and when they arrived the kids did not bat an eyelid nor move, the police did not even get out the car and drove off. As I had explained to the operator on the phone exactly where this bag of drugs was hidden I found the police response very disappointing. PLEASE look out for each other, there are elderly people on the road and younger families and this situation can be very intimidating.Do not hesitate to call 101 to alert the police.I have no doubt these are the kids who stole my motorbike and I would not want the same thing happening to anyone else.Also please alert any neighbours who may not be on this forum.Stay safe!

The inhumanity of it all!

During the course of my turbulant and somewhat disturbing life I have learnt to go without many things. Sacrifice is second nature to me and I rarely complain if a few of lifes necessities are not readily available.Coffee without cream, whisky without ice, pancakes without maple syrup, Britain without the EU, the Jesus and Mary Chain without the feedback (a tad obscure I admit but I'm running out of examples).All these I can deal with, but I've finaly reached my limit.QI WITHOUT STEPHEN FRYHow can I possibly cope with this vast gap in my life.The sheer sadism of it sickens me to my very core.I am a shattered replicant of my former self.Two shows into the new series and the whole thing has lost its mojo.How can Sandi bleedin' Toxic be considered an adequate replacement for the sublime St Stephen. Poor little Alan Davies just sits there like a traumatized puppy yelping for his master.I appologies for burdening you with my personel sorrow and empty existence but this is a cruelty that I just cannot tolerate. Surely heads must roll.

WHEELIE BINS

Residents are told NOT to leave Wheelie Bins on the pavement, perhaps someone should hammer this home to the operatives working for AMEY the Council's contractors!This morning every Wheelie Bin in our street was just dumped on the pavement outside each property! I have now sent an email to the council.Leaving these things cluttering up the pavement is not only ugly but it sends a message that the residents may not be at home.Perhaps it is time for Ealing Council to either ensure that their contractors carry out their duties to our satisfaction or rethink the whole scheme and bring it in-house instead of using outside contractors which may be more efficient and cost effective.The street sweeping is not regular enough, especially with Autumn leaves and they should not sweep the leaves into the drain as this causes further problems when it rains.

Local doctors recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good NHS doctor in the area. Am looking  to change as my current surgery has approx 600 patients and often works with one doctor!! V difficult to get appointment.Also looking for a good private doc for my dad. Ours has retired!

Welcome packs for new Acton Residents

Acton Central and South Acton Ward forums have granted £3000 funding to prepare and distribute welcome packs for new residents in Acton.The funding has in part been granted because of concern about anti social behaviour, especially flytipping by new residents, The population is growing rapidly as we both know and there some concerns that Acton isn't a great place for some people.The funding was signed off by Julian Bell on Tuesday and I have been asked to co ordinate the pack. We will be liaising closely with Residents' Assocations, Community, Social and Faith groups as well as Officers. The great thing about Acton is that we all live together happily most of the time and there is plenty going on locally if newcomers want to join. Before you ask, there will be a whole piece on recycling and disposal of rubbish. I am waiting to be told whether the new licensing scheme for landlords will require them to leave a space for recycling especially in street properties. So what do you think? Suggestions?

Vile woman hurling abuse at a mother and child

To the grey, long haired psychopathic witch riding her bike at 4.50pm on Leythe Rd W3 on Tuesday 27 September 2016, I hope you are feeling rotten today about the abuse you hurled at me and my 3 year old son. You clearly are a very unhappy person to have screamed at a tired mum walking her little boy and her dog, yelling at her that just because her child was slightly ahead of her whilst crossing a road on his scooter after she had looked for cars and saw none, then you appeared on your bicycle out of nowhere to tell me that I should be more careful with him, that I do not deserve to be a mother and that I'm an irresponsible, stupid woman!I'm not sure if you have children or grandchildren, whatever you do or don't have I have no doubt you are a very lonely and bitter human being so instead of being angry, I just feel really really sorry for you. Good luck lady, you need it!
