Feature Film Research
Dear All, I'm currently working on a feature film drama and I'm arranging some research for the production. Specifically, this research would entail the writer/director spending some time speaking with young men in London aged between 18-25 years old who have found themselves on the fringes of criminality, or have operated/associated with individuals or networks that are active in neighbourhood crime, e.g. burglary, fencing of stolen goods, acquisitive crime; perhaps connections to or knowledge of gang culture. As the film's lead character has a similar background, this research is vital so the director can sensitively portray complex and prescient issues. These conversations would be informal, and all matters discussed would be treated in the strictest confidence. I was wondering if anyone might be able to suggest any suitable organisations? Or could direct us towards any suitable candidates? BYPASS is supported by the British Film Institute (BFI) and other British and European partners, and produced by Third Films.
