Big clean up at Asda Park Royal

I've been asked to pass this message on. I will be at the store myself with friends at 1.00 on 13th September for one hour. Anyone available to join me should pm me or just turn up at that time.CUSTOMERS URGED TO JOIN THE 'A-TEAM' FOR BIG TIDY UPColleagues from Asda Park Royal are asking charities/customers to join their very own A-team and help the local environment, after choosing Park Royal's industrial estate for their 'Big Litter Pick' clean-up in September. The store recently asked the community to nominate areas in need of attention as part of the company's national "Big Litter Pick" week with the aim that to make a difference in its local community by cleaning up its green spaces to provide a cleaner, safer environment for local families. Asda Park Royal's 'Big Litter Pick' at the industrial estate will take place between on 10:00- 17:00, September 13th and members of the community wishing to take part should contact the store's Community Life Champion colleague, Donna, in person at the store All the necessary tools for the 'litter-lashing' will be provided by Asda Park Royal, including high-visibility vests, gloves, bin liners and litter pickers. Donna said: "We'd like to say a big thanks to everyone who nominated and we hope we can get the same level of support from the community when we begin our Big Litter Pick."We think it's important to look after the area in which we live and w o3rk and make it an attractive place to be a part of. Many hands make light work and with the support of customers and the wider community we make a real difference in just a week."

Please e-mail before 10pm tonight and ask for safe receipt of your letter/e-mailEmail address is teamp13@pins.gsi.gov.ukThe Planning Inspectorate – Case Officer (Mr Paul Puddy)3/05 WingTemple Quay House2 The SquareBristolBS1 6PNReference to quote on all documentation is APP/A5270/A/13/2202542 Appeal made by Mr S. Ben Shooshan : Peacehaven 3 Creswick Road, W3 9HEThe above mentioned was refused planning permission by the Councils Planning Committee for the following reasons set out below and the owners Mr S B Shooshan have now issued an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate. If you would like to comment or oppose this appeal please note that you will need to write to the Planning Inspectorate tonight before 10pm as this is the deadline.Below are the reasons why this application was refused by the Planning Committee1. The proposed development would entirely screen existing protected trees at the rear of the development site which have a high amenity value and provide a valuable contribution to the area. The development would, therefore, be contrary to policies 5.5 of the adopted Ealing Unitary Development Plan 'Plan for the Environment' 2004, policies 1.1 and 1.2 of the Adopted Development (Core) Strategy and policies 7.21 of the London Plan 2011. 2. The design of the proposed development fails to reflect the character of the area and would be of an inappropriate scale to the size of the site and would for these reasons be contrary to policy 5.5 of the adopted Ealing Unitary Development Plan 'Plan for the Environment' 2004, emerging policies 7.4 and 7C of the Draft Ealing Development Management Development Plan, policies 1.1 and 1.2 of the Adopted Development (Core) Strategy and policy 3.5 of the London Plan 2011. 3. The proposal would fail to protect and enhance the character of the existing locally listed building on site and would therefore be contrary to policy 4.7 of the adopted Ealing Unitary Development Plan 'Plan for the Environment' 2004, emerging policy 7C of the Draft Ealing Development Management Development Plan, policies 1.1 and 1.2 of the Adopted Development (Core) Strategy and policies and policy 7.8 of the London Plan 2011. 4. The development proposal provides insufficient information with respect to the current use of the existing Peacehaven building on site and for this reason the development has the potential to give rise to car parking and other planning related issues. Therefore, the development would be contrary to policies 9.1 of the adopted Ealing Unitary Development Plan 'Plan for the Environment' 2004, emerging policy 6.13 of the Draft Ealing Development Management Development Plan, policies 1.1 and 1.2 of the Adopted Development (Core) Strategy and policy 6.13 of the London Plan 2011.NB.
