We are writing to residents living close by to let you know what is happening at the moment. The sites we have bought are as follows:Three sites between Kathleen Avenue and Park View, intercepted by Allan Way and Court WayTwo sites between Gibbon Road and Glendun Road, intercepted by Foster Road.We are working on development proposals to provide affordable and private market housing together with landscaping along the A40 on these sites and will be undertaking a full public consultation in the coming month. We are currently tidying up two of the overgrown sites and have removed weeds and shrubs to allow site surveys to take place. These have been undertaken with specialist ecologists present to ensure the protection of wildlife as far as possible. We are also planning to demolish the derelict houses on one of the sites, adjacent to Kathleen Avenue, and will be formally applying to Ealing Council for consent to demolish. We will appoint a demolition contractor to undertake the work, who will ensure any disruption that may be caused is kept to a minimum.Notting Hill is one of the most innovative housing associations in the UK and one of the largest property developers in London. We offer high quality housing across the private sale and rental, shared ownership and affordable rental markets. We will be back in touch in the autumn with the details of our first community consultation event. If you have any queries or comments in the meantime, please contact me at Notting Hill Housing on 020 8357 4576 or by email RArkell@nhhg.org.uk.Kind regardsRoger ArkellSenior Planning Manager
